Collaborated with the Royal Shakespeare Company on the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Teacher Development Project exploring how their rehearsal room processes can be integrated with action research to enable primary school teachers to integrate arts learning into their pedagogy.

Five facts to give a flavour of me…

  1. My motto would be “If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again”.
  2. My favourite holiday destination is anywhere culturally new and different, and preferably warm.
  3. My favourite word is ‘dram’.
  4. My favourite journey is a long walk in beautiful wild countryside with great company.
  5. The people I most admire are those who, in spite of their own not-insignificant challenges, work tirelessly and passionately to make things easier for others less fortunate than themselves. And who manage to do so without having endless meetings!

  1. My motto would be “Unity in diversity”.
  2. I consider my greatest professional achievement to be being true to myself, even when that route is the most painful.
  3. My favourite journey is emerging westbound from Box Tunnel on my train home to Bath from Paddington.
  4. My idea of perfect happiness is the joy on my sons’ faces when I get the roast potatoes absolutely right (i.e. crunchy outside, fluffy inside).
